The Call to Shine
If God let it show…
If the outward reflected the inward.
If our hearts shone as brightly as our mouths claim.
God seeks transformation—
It begins within,
But it cannot stay there.
Our faith cannot be hidden.
It cannot live only in whispers and testimony.
It must be seen.
It must be felt.
Jesus said, “Let your light so shine.”
If God is light,
And in Him there is no darkness,
Then wherever He is, there is light.
He does not conform.
He is the light—shining in the midst of shadow.
If God, then let us shine.
If God, then let our lives glow
Even among the faithful.
The Challenge & Response
We claim God as source,
Yet so often we live disconnected from Him.
We tell of His love,
Yet fail to show it in our steps, our speech, our hands.
Why do we call ourselves Christians…yet our lives do not live it?
A life that does not reflect God,
But only talks about Him,
Is no life in Him.
Paul said, “To live is Christ, to die is gain.”
If our lives—mine, yours, ours—
Do not honour God in modesty, purity, speech, conduct—
Then we are hardly living for Him at all.
God looks inward, yes—
But if your inward life is as godly as you believe,
Why should it be hard to show it outwardly?
Do not be deceived.
God calls us not only to reflect light within,
But to shine.
To become visible,
A living spotlight of Christlikeness,
So others may see,
And glorify our Father in heaven.
